Nohoch Che’en Cave Tubing and Zipline Adventure From Belize City Is The Way To Go!
Just got home from a fun vacation in Belize. We stayed at The Great House Inn for 3 nights and the accommodation was great. I was with a group of 11 divers who wanted to experience the mainland before going to San Pedro. We decided on cave tubing and zipline adventure from Belize City. We called this company and our reservation was accepted. Floyd, our tour guide was at the hotel at 7:30 to pick us up.
We boarded the van and off we went. It was a slow drive through the City as Floyd talked about the history of Belize City. As we drove to the zipline site Floyd told us about the cultures of Belize. The drive was about an hour. We were assisted with the zipline gears and hiked 3 minutes to start the zipline tour. This was scary at first. Especially when zipping over the river. After the zipline we drove about 5 minutes to the cave tubing park. When we got there we were issued a lifevest, inner tube, and head lamps.
As we hiked Floyd pointed out Medicinal Plants and told us about its use. He also explained the use of the caves to us. As we were being towed through the caves, Floyd pointed out formations in the caves. The cave tubing was refreshing and relaxing. After the cave tubing we did lunch at a local restaurant. We were served rice and bean with chicken. It is the best chicken I ever ate.
